Mossy Society is a Montreal artist/activist collective focused on the intersection of clowning, contemporary dance, theatre, technology, and socially engaged art practices.
We create interdisciplinary shows, videos, workshops, events, and sustainable art initiatives that engage the community and build bridges between knowledge holders, students, grassroots organizations, educational institutions, artists, and vulnerable communities.
Mossy Society is a merging of artists, teachers, philosophers, researchers, and students. As a collective, we create costumes, props and sets out of recycled materials whenever possible, and actively seek Indigenous and cultural minority involvement.
