We are working with Comm-Un and the Tlachiuak Atelier to organize artistic collaborations that support un/derhoused Indigenous communities through collaboration and mutual aid.
Currently gathering smart phones to distribute to un/derhoused artists with 80gig phone plans so artists can begin sharing their stories and artworks globally (with our management support) and connect more easily with family and friends. We have $10k/month of Google non-profit adds to disseminate with.
Our residency space Forêt Curieuse is nearing completion and un/derhoused artists will be invited to regularly take part in healing and artmaking nature retreats. We have a mill and 100+ logged cedar trees on site. Our tools and materials can be used to construct tiny homes and large-scale art projects.
Please contact us at mossysociety@gmail.com if you have an UNUSED PHONE or would like to get involved with video editing, fundraising, tiny home building, carpentry mentorship, grants, etc..
In partnership with the SHIFT Centre for Social Transformation.
